New York, November 4, 2007--- Africans In America, Inc., a leading human rights organization addressing social issues concerning the larger African immigrant community in United States has dispatched congratulatory message to the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nigeria, Dame Virgy Ngozi Etiaba, KSM, on her induction into Nigeria Women Hall of Fame which took place on Sunday November 4, 2007 at Nigeria capital city of Abuja.
The message reads, “It's with overwhelming joy that we at Africans In America, Inc. particularly received the news of your induction into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame.
This is perfectly an honor to whom honor is due. This is perfectly an honor due you.
We at Africans In America, Inc. are understandably over-joyed having recognized your sterling qualities by naming you Our Person of the Year 2006 and subsequently presenting you with a plaque.
We are beating our chests here in New York, United States for being the first to 'discover' you for the world to follow.
Now that the people of Anambra have tasted you and compared to all the rest (past and present governors), you are unquestionably and unarguably the best. When you were in-charge, you brought peace, developments especially at the grassroots communities, and improved the quality of life in the states by fulfilling government responsibilities to workers among other thing.
Please be prepared for more honors, more awards, more recognitions and most especially higher responsibilities in public life in future. The people of Anambra State, the people of Nigeria and the world community have not done with you yet; not yet.
Congratulations, Your Excellency; Ezi Nne Anambra. We are solidly behind you and; May God continue to protect you.
Long live Anambra State, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
May God continue to abundantly bless the United States of America.”
The message dispatched from the organization’s New York headquarters was signed by the Executive Director, Mr. Bonaventure Ezekwenna. |
