Ngige's Many Problems Are Self-inflicted
New York---Study of Anambra State government, Nigeria under former Gov. Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige shows that many problems former governor Ngige is having in his new quest to return to Anambra State Government House are self-inflicted problems that may scare away regular political donors, political campaign sponsors and many supporters. Studies show that Ngige has taken treachery, deceit, deception and frauds to a new low and has put another human face, his face as a symbol. Despite the fraudulent process that he fully participated in order to become governor of Anambra State in 2003, when he broke ranks with his co-conspirators and syndicate shortly after, he had ample opportunities to become the greatest governor and politician in Nigeria and perhaps Africa. But no, Ngige choose to perfect treachery, deceit, deception and frauds to new low just like average Nigerian crooked politician. Here are just a tip of the iceberg on some of the reasons former governor Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige is having so much problems in his new quest to return to Anambra State Government House, hopefully through the right way this time around: Missed Opportunities
Trust-Factor: Is Former Gov. Ngige Trust-worthy? Key among them is the obvious trust-factor following the expose of deals and antics Ngige had with his sponsors prior to 2003 election. Election sponsors we were opportune to interact with do not buy the notion that Ngige broke ranks with his sponsors in order to save Anambra State. People believe that he broke ranks with his sponsors out of treacherous, deceitful, deceptive and fraudulent selfishness and greed to take all the booties alone without sharing with anyone, in this case denying his sponsors opportunity to get their share. People in Anambra State argue that Ngige did not stop, or, fight fraud and corruption in government, rather he stopped former President Obasanjo and his cronies from participating in looting the treasury of Anambra State government during his administration. No major sponsor is buying the 'Savior, or, Messiah of Anambra State' garbage because those with information about money that went to Anambra State during Ngige regime from various sources: Federation account, internally generated revenue, funds/grants/donations from international bodies and others, know that few roads he constructed does not account for all the funds that went to Anambra State Government during his time. Okija Shrines and Atrocious Crime Committed There-in The nocturnal visit to Okija satanic deities by Ngige and his fellow cronies of former President Obasanjo and what they actually did there as part of the secret oath-taking rituals continue to haunt them, particularly former Gov. Ngige. After kidnapping and release of Gov. Ngige on July 10, 2003, he talked to the press and revealed that it was Chief Chris Uba, an in-law to President Obasanjo and leader of thuggery arm of Obasanjo cronies in Anambra State that masterminded his abduction because he did not allow him to part with government funds. Ngige further revealed that he and a select group of the syndicate went to the fetish shrines at mid-night (2.00 a.m.) and performed some rituals involving dead bodies. Ngige further revealed that part of the rituals he performed included oath of obedience to Chief Chris Uba, the leader of cronies and some other documents on how to siphon away state funds.
Chief Uba and his colleagues fired back by addressing the press and stating that Dr. Ngige made pacts/agreement with them and swore to those pacts/agreement at shrines of fetish deity at Okija. It was then revealed that what took place was enforcement of the secret oath he (Ngige) performed and swore to at notorious shrines of Okija fetish deity, prior to 2003 election after which he was made governor of Anambra State, Nigeria. In the cross-fire press releases and interviews by Gov. Ngige and Uba groups aimed at exposing each other, details of ridiculous and disgusting secret and illegal pacts/agreements (written agreements with documents as proof) to other very serious crimes that took place at the fetish deity and other places towards emergence of Ngige governorship began to emerge in bits by bits, pieces by pieces. Such as revelation that Dr. Ngige undressed barely naked (to either loin cloth, or men's underwear), did some ridiculous dance moves, swore oath of obedience to barely-educated Chief Chris Uba and performed other rituals involving dead bodies. Such revelation that Dr. Ngige was a regular patron of the Okija fetish deity and that he (Dr. Ngige) may have chosen to take the group to the fetish shrines and drove some of the groups to the shrines on that day with his vehicle. Such revelation that part of the rituals he performed included oath of obedience to Chief Chris Uba, the leader of cronies and signed some documentary pacts/agreements to siphon away state funds. Nigerian Police Raided Okija Fetish Shrines and Made Gruesome Discoveries of Dead Bodies and Human Parts
Then on August 5, 2004, Nigerians and the world were horrified at the news that Nigerian police raided the Okija shrines on August 4, 2004 and made gruesome discovery of over 70 dead bodies, human skulls, hundred and possibly thousands of human parts openly displayed and at various levels of decomposition, some still fresh and headless and some were in their coffins; the same shrines Dr. Ngige and his gang had gone to perform oath-taking rituals in order to be illegally installed governor of Anambra State. The police also recovered over five registers containing the names of the patrons of the shrine. Among the cronies that reportedly accompanied Dr. Ngige to the shrine were members of the federal, as well as, state legislatures and other very influential politicians. The police arrested over 40 workers, keepers and attendants of the Satanic shrines. These workers, keepers, and attendants are called 'priests' and 'custodians' of the shrine. The police also collected some full dead bodies and lots of human parts such as skulls and bones. Was Murder Committed at Okija Satanic Shrine? Was There Cover-up?
One Hon. Chuma Nzeribe, a member of Nigerian House of Representatives (a federal lawmaker) and few prominent individuals gave press interviews accusing the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Chris Ngige of patronizing the shrine and requested the police to quiz the governor regarding the dead bodies found there. That set off speculation and unconfirmed reports filled the air that human being was sacrificed during the rituals. However the police investigation and actions of Gov. Ngige's Anambra State Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice raises more questions of cover-up than answers. December 28, 2004: The Police Inspector-General Tafa Balogun stated in a press conference that forensic and pathological examination show that some of the dead bodies recovered from the Okija shrine had head injuries, which are signs that they were murdered. March 2005: The Police concluded its investigation, granted bail to the 'priests' and transferred the case file to Governor Ngige's Anambra State Ministry of Justice for prosecution. July 2005: After almost five months of studying the case file, Ngige's Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice dropped a bombshell when he stated there would be problems prosecuting the 'priests' because the charges preferred by the police against the 'priests' could not support the facts uncovered by the police investigation. August 24, 2005: Chief Magistrate freed the 38 surviving ones on the grounds that there was no evidence to sustain the charges against them. Few months later, Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo dismissed The Police Inspector-General Tafa Balogun and accused him of numerous frauds and corruption. Tafa Balogun was arrested, charged to court, convicted and served prison time; the first and only Police Inspector General in the history of Nigeria to be arrested, charged to court, convicted and served prison time. It is unknown whether Anambra State funds went to the direction of the convicted corrupt police boss. Questions of Cover-up on Okija Shrines The above developments have raised many questions namely:
Multi-billionaire western investors eager to convince their groups to invest in the ‘new’ Anambra State said of this verdict, “this kind of stuff is one of the scariest worry about that country, how could they mishandle such a horrific case when everyone is watching? That is a hard one to spin. That is new Nigeria for you”. Ngige Offended his Core Support Base For some very strange reasons, Ngige choose to offend his core support base. This is a cardinal sin that no politician would want to commit. When a public figure that depends on public goodwill chooses to offend his/her support base, other support bases get jittery and wonder whether they will suffer the same fate. It has been determined that Gov. Ngige has developed bad pattern of negative and bizarre behaviors. Africans In America, Inc. is a victim of his abysmal conduct in New York in 2003 and by that conducts Gov. Ngige sends out very negative signals about himself and his perception of public office. Ngige Elevated Gossip Reports to Level of Intelligence Reports Every public official, even mediocre public official, even low level managers of very small establishments know very well that one must discern and separate private matters of relatives from official duties; that gossips by relatives of public officials would be discarded and would never interfere with official matters. A public officials must have the ability and integrity to let his/her relatives know that certain private matters and private-matters-induced-gossips do not interfere with his/her official responsibilities. A public official and high-ranking public official, for that matter, must not elevate 'Gossip Reports' to level of 'Intelligence Reports'. The ability and integrity to discern this is what Gov. Ngige had shown that he abysmally lacks. Ngige as Anambra State governor sided with people who feel that human rights organization like ours (Africans In America, Inc.) addressing the luring and transporting of poor children from Nigeria with false promises of better life in United States but upon arrival in US choose to grossly abuse and exploit those poor and defenseless human beings should be insulted, vilified and denigrated. Ngige as Anambra State governor feels that human rights organization like ours (Africans In America, Inc.) raising awareness on vices, such as human trafficking and working with partners including law enforcements to stop the gross abuse and exploitations of these poor and defenseless children from Nigeria could be insulted, vilified and denigrated. Ngige as Anambra State governor elevated gossip reports from his relatives and few elements from his community in New York and other parts of United States to a level of "Intelligent Report" and that is treacherous, deceitful, deceptive, and fraudulent application of his office. To add salt to injury, after he clearly found out that he committed blunders, he sent his relatives and associates to attack, threats to harm, assassinate and intimidate rather than correct his foolery. Rude and Disgraceful Conducts in New York, 2003: Insulted Invited US dignitaries, govt officials, Families of September 11 Victims, Human Rights Organizations These areas are very disastrous official decision-making ineptitude on the part of Governor Ngige. In 2003, Gov. Ngige requested that events be organized for him to meet New York elected officials and business leaders to seek foreign investment in Anambra State. New York City, state and federal lawmakers, and New Jersey City and state government officials, families of September 11 victims and the press were invited to the event at World Trade Center site on November 2, 2003. Ngige rudely cancelled his appearance at the event planned for him per his request and kept invited US dignitaries, govt officials, Families of September 11 Victims, human rights organizations feeling insulted by his conduct. After his disgraceful and rude conduct, US Congressman Hon. Charles B. Rangel, who we believe was either Chairman or Deputy Chairman of House Ways and Means Committee wrote President Obasanjo seeking explanation of such a conduct by Gov. Chris Ngige, a Nigerian public official. Anybody with elementary knowledge of US government and world economy would know the importance of Ways and Means Committee of United States House of Assembly. This is a man that showed interest in Anambra State. One could then imagine the enormous damage Gov. Ngige did to the state by his senseless conducts. Gov. Ngige Surrounds Himself with Thugs and Rogues Gov. Ngige had during that visit in 2003 (and continuing) surrounded himself with thugs and rogues who assured him that they are the real deal in United States. Having cornered him very well, they misdirected him, gave him false hope, and fed his ego full. After-wards, they milked him silly and now some of them have abandoned him. Some of them, both men and women, are ex-convicts who had done time in US prisons for various offenses. It is very embarrassing that a Nigerian State Governor would disrespect, abandon and shy away from mingling with US dignitaries including government officials, and rather chose to 'hang-out around town' with known hardcore ex-convicts and criminals. Administration Characterized by Endless Crisis and Endless Tension Ngige's 3 and half years on the seat of Anambra State governorship was characterized by crisis upon crisis. From the time he was sworn-in as governor on April 19, 2003 to the time he was ousted by the Court of Appeal for election fraud and illegality on March 15, 2006, the people of Anambra State knew no peace: From his abduction/kidnapping by his co-conspirators and election fraudsters to High Court declaration that he was not properly elected governor; from his running away from his office and hiding in unknown location so police will not find him, to showing up sporadically surrounded by local militia and thugs; from non-conduct of local government elections, to burning of government buildings and structures in the state; from accusing opponents of burning government houses, to breaking of safe inside his own office and looting of large sun of money kept there which was not off limit to opponents; from having armed and out-of-control local militia roaming around and terrorizing innocent citizens, to shooting in the air to terrify and scare away visiting federal lawmakers in Awka. Ngige's 3 and half years in office as Anambra State Governor were characterized by restlessness and endless high tension days and nights. Ngige's Associates Arrested by Federal Agents over Credit Card Frauds in US Shortly after the governor's visit to US and departure, US federal law enforcement agents busted a credit card frauds business operation of a particular ranking official of ASA-USA who actively misled Gov. Ngige during his visit in 2003. The individual again misinformed and deceived Gov. Ngige by telling him that he was busted and his shop closed because of his support and defense of the governor. Information has it that the co-rogue associate of Gov. Ngige then asked the governor for assistance claiming that he was facing persecution for supporting him. As ridiculous as that sounds, the governor reportedly put him on stipend of $1,000.00 a month; it is unknown whether this money was coming from Anambra State Government Treasury or from his private pocket. That very individual, though paying lips services to Governor Ngige's campaign, has been actually passionately working behind the scene for Ngige's opponent Mr. Andy Uba. Ngige Attracts Indecent, Unpolished, Nuisance, and Rogues Gov. Ngige has negative tendency of attracting indecent unpolished nuisance and rogues. At the moment, a known loud-mouth and indecent fellow, no manners, a reported drunkard, a community nuisance based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States appear to have been recruited to haul abuses, insults, attacks and terror threats on organizations and private citizens who Ngige associates consider critics.
This Boston-based man will be identified at the moment as Mazi VCU from Ora-Ifite, Anambra State, Nigeria because we do not want to give him undue and unnecessary publicity. This nuisance thug who worked or still works for Peoples Democratic Party in his area in US as secretary is apparently currently hired by Ngige people to terrorize and intimidate critics. Some people call this Boston-based nuisance 'an attack dog capable of unleashing violence anytime anywhere'. This individual publicly (on the online forums) often-times post comments about death of Ngige critics, he describes female private organs in ways that keep subscribers wondering. He repeatedly publicly (on the online forums) describes a particular female as “a testicular fortitude nwada". He also regularly publicly (on the online forums) describes males private organs as "balls". Among all the decent people in United States, this is the kind of fellow promoting former governor Chris Ngige and his campaign. Some Anambra US-based multi-millionaire businessmen that contacted us recently expressed their embarrassment when former Gov. Ngige was seen with this character (Mazi VCU) during his fundraising events in one of the cities in United States. The Anambra US-based multi-millionaire businessmen put away the checks they wanted to give to support the governor immediately they saw him arrive accompanied by the notorious Mazi VCU because at that time they figured-out the type of person Ngige really is by the company he keeps. Ngige's More Polished Faithful Former Aides Feel Used, Abused and Discarded
Information we have indicate that Gov. Ngige upon recruiting some descent people that worked for his government in 2003 had secured their loyalty by promising them hefty amount as bonus and parting gift at the end of their tenure. They worked for him and remained loyal throughout his turbulent administration. But as Court of Appeal was about to deliver judgment on his election case, anticipating the outcome, Ngige did not stay with them to hear the verdict, rather, he abandoned everything and everybody, escaped and fled to United States on the day of the verdict. His reported promises of parting gifts were not kept. His former aides complain that they are living in poverty in Nigeria while Ngige is living in stupendous opulence in United States. Rewards For Rogue Associates Apart from the suspected credit card fraudster in Los Angeles, California that was reportedly paid $1,000.00 monthly, other associates on former governor Ngige in US reportedly received various financial support. A female associate, a New York-based socialite that had spent time at US penitentiary and got her freedom by turning-in her cousins to US law enforcement in the 1990s was reportedly handsomely rewarded and she opened a restaurant specializing in Nigerian dishes; a base to market her special skills and now 'legally provide various hospitality services to Nigerian dignitaries visiting United States and Canada without their wives'. Plotted Subversion of Foreign Friendly Government in Nigeria from Maryland, United States Ngige's former associates have abandoned him and some had actually turned against him, hence, words are beginning to leak-out on how while in self-exile in US, Ngige hosted a group of Anambra State lawmakers during and after World Igbo Congress (WIC) Convention in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006 where they discussed and plotted the illegal impeachment and removal of Anambra State Gov. Peter Obi from office in 2006. This is a serious violation of United States laws and potentially international laws. Ngige Associates Admit That He Is A Crook Associates of former governor Ngige in United States led by Mr. James Asiegbu (a/k/a Jimmy) regularly posting on internet forums recently admitted that their hero Gov. Ngige to be a crook. They described former President Obasanjo's syndicate led by Chief Chris Uba as an organized crime syndicate. However, they claimed that for their hero Ngige to penetrate the Obasanjo syndicate, he has to be a crook like them to become a member, he has to be a crook like them, go to Okija shrines like them, perform those rituals like them and do everything they do in order to gain their trust, and having penetrated them and knowing their secrets and ways, he then smashed it. Jimmy and other associates made these statements while defending and justifying Ngige and Obasanjo cronies' nocturnal visit to Okija fetish shrines where he (Ngige) reportedly stripped bare naked, performed rituals with dead bodies, signed agreement and swore oath of obedience to Chief Chris Uba and his groups in order to be fraudulently installed the Anambra State governor through election rigging. Ngige's Associates Threaten To Assassinate Critics Recently, individuals believed to be relatives and associates of former governor Dr. Chris Ngige posted threats on internet forums announcing intent to assassinate an individual they consider critic of the former governor who is currently running for election into office. The threat was written and concealed in Igbo language. After studying the threat, it was determined that it was carefully and professionally scripted as an idiomatic expression of intent to decapitate or remove a human head. Preliminary investigation reveals that the threat was posted by a Nigerian attorney based in Maryland/Washington DC area of United States using fake names to post materials on the internet. Alarms have been raised about this terror death threat and all attempts to get the individual to rescind the threat have so far failed. Few Good Qualities For balance our studies show few good qualities of Gov. Chris Ngige. First was the defeat arch-hater of the Igbo people in the person of Nigeria’s former army general, President Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Aremu Obasanjo at the battle of Anambra State Government Treasury. Civilian Gov. Ngige routed the bullying former army general despite all his national and international might.
Second was the embarrassing and humiliating exposure of Obasanjo syndicate looting-silly the treasury of Anambra State Government, in particular and Igboland in general. Now, the point has to be made that studies has shown that Gov. Ngige stopped treasury looting by Obasanjo cronies only. Third was some limited but appreciable initiative on road constructions and payment of workers salary and pension. This one-track development of roads though understandably cheered by un-served and under-served Anambra citizenry, it is not sufficient management of huge resources that accrued to the state during 3 and half years Ngige was in office as the state chief executive. With the advent of Ngigeism, which is penetration, crushing defeat and exposure of Obasanjo looting cronies and syndicate and limited but appreciable effort on roads, and payments of salary and pension to workers, Anambra citizenry are now more aware of capabilities of resources in government treasury, bolder, wiser, more conscious of expectation from government and political leaders. Tip of the Iceberg These are just tip of the iceberg showing that Gov. Ngige misused a lot of opportunities to do greater good for the masses of Anambra State; that his many problems are avoidable, corrigible, self-inflicted and finally, former Gov. Dr. Chris Ngige's problems are former Gov. Dr. Chris Ngige himself. There are many other self-inflicted problems. In politically mature and advanced countries of the world, these are very serious issues. But people in Anambra State and other parts of Nigeria are beginning to wake up. Many regular political donors, political campaign sponsors and the masses do not find these very amusing at all, and that may explain some of the reasons Ngige is having so much problems in his new quest to return to Anambra State Government House, hopefully through the right way this time around.
